- Conducting experimental scientific and applied research in micro and nanomechanics of materials and surfaces, with emphasis on new properties of elements, details and systems in mechatronics.
- Research and application of nanotechnological methods and new nanomaterials to improve the triboengineering properties of materials, with application in mechatronics.
- Fundamental research on the enhancing effects of nanoparticles in composite materials.

The laboratory is equipped with robots for research and experimental activities in the field of industrial robotics and integration of industrial universal robots in high-tech mechatronic systems.

*Engineering, reengineering and extension of the life cycle of industrial machines, appliances and systems;
*Automated and software-assisted control systems with application in production;
